Originally a frontier home, the Riverdene Lodge has been restored to offer a distinctly colonial experience with strong overtones of contemporary African textures, colours and designs. This luxury safari accommodation is perfect for families, or travelling groups of friends. Comprised of nine luxury rooms (seven of them are inter-leading), spacious living areas, and specialised children’s facilities this lodge is perfectly luxurious as well as family friendly. 

All rooms are equipped with TV, small living areas, en-suite bathrooms and private balconies leading onto manicured green lawns. Outside a large infinity pool offers respite from the African sun, and a jungle gym offers outdoor entertainment for younger children. Meals can be taken in the beautifully thatched outdoor lapa which is equipped with barbeque facilities as well as a viewing deck overlooking the Bushman’s River. Inside two sumptuous lounges offer space to unwind and relax, and for young ones the lodge is equipped with a supervised playroom. Children can also participate in the Kids on Safari programme and visit the Animal Rehabilitation and Born Free Centres.
