Dovehouse Organics has a organic shop in Howick (at the premises of dietician and nutritionist, Tanya March, at 122 Main Street, next door to the Corner Post Restaurant), retailing organic fresh produce and whole foods. The farm shop and restaurant, 7.5km out on the Karkloof Road, is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 17:00. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and teas. The farm is a venue for facilitating permaculture and organic gardening training workshops, health related workshops as well as empowering small market gardeners to grow and sell their excess organic produce (alongside the larger organic producers) through the Dovehouse Organic Shops. The kitchen is able to cater for special requests, however, advance notice would be appreciated. Our function room hosts up to 30 participants, and the kitchen can cater for a range of requirements.
