History:

The farm was registered in 1759.  Kruisrivier is one of the oldest famrs in the Oudsthoorn district.  The eight generation presently lives on the farm.  Their aim is to preserve history and culture. Guests experience something unique, because of the extraordinary decor of the cottages combined with beautiful nature. They also teach farm children not to litter, to protect plants and to make fires in safe areas. They also aim to destroy all alien trees and already started with the black wattle.
