Majuba Lodge is able to play host to almost any club, organisation, or event, whether it is the National Hot Air Balloon Competition, the Africa Challenge Swimming Gala, or just your local activities club, they all receive the same personal attention and service. A lodge speciality is playing host for all kinds of car and bike clubs, modern or vintage.
Tours are arranged specifically to meet requirements and all routes are carefully planned and documented.
The ground on which Majuba Lodge stands was bought in 1986, the old house (then known as the ‘gables’) renovated into a restaurant and 20 rooms built. A unique feature of the lodge is that railway sleepers have been used extensively for furniture and fittings.
Majuba now offers luxury accommodation in fourty rooms, where every air-conditioned room has its own undercover parking, direct dial telephone, M-Net, DSTV, work desk, en-suite bath and shower facilities, and extra-length bed for maximum comfort. Normal rates are for bed and breakfast with special all inclusive rates for tour groups.
At the lodge, tour groups receive personal attention with their own dining and bar facilities when on tour. There is an excellent pub and restaurant on the same premises as the lodge, so there is no need to leave the grounds.
