This group was started in 2000 by Rob Clarke. The group was previously known as St. Mary’s Craft Group. In 1999 Magda Wyngaardt and Olivia London attended a course to master the use of the Bernina sewing machine.
In September 2000 they started the group with four members from the welfare and four from the local community. Their first exhibition was held in 2000 at the Flower Show in the St. Mary’s Church. Due to various reasons they had to leave the Coachman’s Cottage where they worked for 12 years. They currently work in the backyard of their oldest member (96 years). The classes have grown to 27 members and they also have a waiting list of members wanting to join. They started these classes to teach the less fortunate to make items to sell and generate an income. This is a great way for local women to socialize and share their stories.

- Cloth work;
- 3D decoupage;
- Glass painting;
- Watches and quilts;
- T-showers;
- Jewellery;
- Knit work;
- Crochet; and
- Some of the ladies also specializes in baking.
