This campsite is located off Mongu-Senanga Road, in a serene environment where shade is provided by Mango and Cashew nut trees with lush green lawns. The campsite is situated on a beautiful piece of land overlooking the Zambezi flood plain.
This business started when the owners realized that there was a need for a campsite in Mongu. The campsite is named after a tree (Syzigium spp) that grows along the riverine systems around the campsite. It is known to provide rest for those who need it and a home away from home for many travellers. The land was given to the operator by the Lozi Litunga. From here you can truly enjoy this beautiful piece of land that overlooks the Zambezi floodplain.
