This crèche was started on the 17th of January 2000 in the temporary house next to Dichoeung General Dealer and Lehwelere Matlala Secondary School. The service was formally known as Ithlabolleng Crèche, which was changed in the same year to Shilela Creche. It was committed to uplift the standard of living within its communities.
