Century Place B&B

This centrally located B&B, near to the hospital and La Gratitude Old age home, offers two double rooms with showers, a lounge and television, large verandah with nice treed gardens, and a Koi fish pond. Guests can enjoy a game of carpet bowls in the evening.

The home was built by the late Mr O’Riley in 1920. Later in 2002 the B&B was established by Trevor Smale, after he retired from Telkom SA.

Activities include playing pool, and bowls coaching or social bowls games can be arranged.

It is has easy access to the following facilities:

  • Grey Hound bus terminal;
  • Local airport;
  • Century Casino;
  • Sports complex;
  • Arbor Park; and
  • Bowling greens.

This house was built in the early 1920’s and is declared a monument. The current owner, Trevor Smale, decided to open the home as a B&B after he retired in 2002.
