Pia and Kech Sanchez (from Braeside Guesthouse) and Tony Psaila (from Spirit of Africa Taxidermy) have started to develop land alongside Braeside Guesthouse as a recreation and market venue. The Forgotten Falls area has superb views down the valley, a 16m waterfall, an ablution block and secure parking. A picnic and braai (barbecue) area is available, as is a children’s recreation area – including a jungle gym, a BMX and small motorbike track.
The Forgotten Falls area also hosts farmers and craft markets. Future plans include a restaurant. The Midas Music Club will occasionally provide entertainment.
