The first floor of the Clubhouse consists of seven rooms which provides a perfect stay over for small golfing groups. A number of 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom rental pool lodges will become available at Silver Leaf during 2011, creating a unique family breakaway destination.
The Clubhouse offers a unique Honeymoon Suite, as well as six guest suites that are comfortably and tastefully decorated with HD televisions and balconies.
All meals are served in the elegant dining lounge and bar. Dine in the friendly atmosphere of golfers, enjoy spectacular sunsets on the deck and experience the serenity of our courtyard.
Golf course:
The existing golf course is destined to become one of the top 9-hole golf courses in South Africa. Mark Muller, the well-renowned golf course architect, has transformed the course into a spectacular layout that has a links-feel to it. John Bland and Mark Wiltshire have combined their vast golfing knowledge to ensure that the playability of the course is fair and enjoyable to all golfers, yet testing when nature’s elements prevail.
The golf course is characterized by well-defined tee boxes, tiered landing areas, and bunkers protecting spacious greens. A major feature of the course is a wetlands area that trickles into a catchment dam. The green complexes consist of paspalum, a grass type that is suited to coastal conditions. The kikuyu fairways are bordered by semi-rough covered with natural grass and fynbos.
Although the golf course is suitable to walk, golf carts are allowed on course.
