Izinga Guesthouse was established in the year 2006 by Mr. J. Sithole and Mrs. L. Sithole. The guesthouse is based in Newcastle, Northern KwaZulu-Natal and offers accommodation, catering and conferencing services.
Izinga Guesthouse is a very exclusive, attractive and unique guesthouse in Newcastle. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, satellite television, exclusive furniture and lights …. “all done to make guests feel special”. The welcoming lounge (with DSTV) has comfortable furniture. The lodge also offers conferencing, laundry on request, a swimming pool and meals (provided on request). The guesthouse provides a friendly atmosphere and the staff make sure that they give guests personal assistance.
The garden outside and around the house relaxes the mind and encourages creativity. Beverages and snacks are on sale.
The history of Izinga Guesthouse in the words of the owners:
“One day a friend of ours approached us asking if we wanted to use our house as a guesthouse for the weekend as all other accommodations in the area were full. That was one of the busiest weekends in Newcastle. We couldn’t unfortunately help that particular weekend, however it gave us the idea of having a guesthouse, which had been a dream of ours for a long while. We started pursuing our dream, visited a number of guesthouses and tried to shape our dream into a reality. We talked about it and thank God for its manifestation. That was mid 2005. By September we started preparing for renovations. With the help of God and our friends, we accumulated most of the things and knowledge we needed. At the end of February 2006, we started our new venture. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. We are unique because of our interesting house, high standard décor and meals visitors will never forget”.
