Kruisrivier Gallery Apartment

The gallery is a renovated old school building and consists of Roger’s workshop and displays his photography and unique furniture.

The self-catering apartment is an ideal setting for a romantic weekend or a few days getaway. It is creatively and tastefully decorated with a bed made by Roger! The apartment also has a Victorian bath, solar heated hot water and a woodstove for heating. There is also a delightful, old, table-top Belling stove and for the more modern people, a microwave. The private verandah leads into the beautiful garden in which there is a proliferation of birdlife, field mice and busy lizards.

Facilities and services:

Fresh salads and herbs fresh from the garden;
Firewood for braai (barbeque) and the wood stove is provided;
Although the apartment is self-catering, guest are welcome to join the hosts for a delicious meal in their home across the road – by arrangement. This building was renovated by Roger himself!
Plants cultivated on the property are offered for sale, as are the photographs and postcards displayed in the gallery;
There is a coffee shop attached to the gallery where guests can enjoy light refreshments, homemade biscotti and koeksisters;
The area is famous for great hiking and cycling opportunities.
