The Little Hunter’s Museum of the Ju/’Hoansi-San close to Tsumkwe offers visitors the experience of an original hunt, apart from getting to know a very old hunter-gatherer culture. The San living in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy are the only cultural group who are still officially allowed to hunt traditionally.
Travellers will enjoy trying their hand at firing a bow and arrow and learning more about the digging out of spring hares and porcupines, the snare catching of guinea fowls, khoraans and other birds for the daily hunt for food, which has never been terminated.
