Lupela Lodge is situated in a peaceful and scenic valley in the Witteberg Mountains on the Camp Farm in the Lady Grey District. The lodge is a five en-suite bedroom cottage sleeping 12–15 guests. All amenities are provided and guests are welcome to self-cater. Breakfast is served and other meals can be arranged. The cottage is fully equipped with a fireplace and pub area. Braai (barbecue) facilities are available. There are electric blankets on all the beds to stave off the winter chill.
Activities in the area include catch-and-release fly-fishing, day hiking trails (from easy to very challenging) and swimming in the rivers. Rock art, wildflowers, birds and a variety of buck species are sure to be seen on excursions. Other interesting trips could be game drives on a nearby farm and a visit to a local traditional healer to chat about the medicinal plants of the area.
