Mngqesha Great Place Tourism Initiative is an expanding eco-agro tourism product within the historical site of the Kingdom of Amarharhabe, at the foot of Amathole Mountain and surrounded by the Pirie and Maiden Dams. The initiative is supported by various departments, including the National DEAT Responsibility Programme. This areas is one of the sites where the Buffalo City Department of Economic Development and Tourism is implementing the Umqokoza Agriculture Programme.
