This is a community-based project that was started by women in the village of Mkiva in the interests of benefiting the community. The idea is to make people independent and able to do things for themselves.
Some of the things they do include the making of beadwork, wall hanging mats made out of green cabbage and used bags, wood carving and thatched houses made out of clay. Other activities include story telling.
