Port Indigo offers charming accommodation on the beachfront in McDougall’s Bay – approximately 5km from the centre of Port Nolloth. The accommodation comes Highly Recommended by the AA and the establishment has been awarded three stars by the Tourism Trading Council.

Accommodation:

The rooms have an en-suite shower and toilet, and are supplied with towels and soaps. Breakfast is served in ‘Port Dump’ – a quaintly converted old building alongside the guesthouse. They also offer an a-la-carté menu and is fully licensed. Port Indigo’s staff offers personal attention to all their guests and are happy to chat about what Port Nolloth has to offer. 

The beach is a mere step across a road from the guesthouse and an ideal walking or running route. The sea is restricted in the vicinity by a large natural tidal pool – so swimming is safe year-round if one is willing to brave the cold water.

Port Nolloth Sand Festival:

Once a year, Old Year evening, Port Indigo Guesthouse, together with the Northern Cape, host a Community Sand Feast.
