Mishack Raphalalani is also one of the best and well-known wood sculpturists in Venda. He lives at Tshakhuma Village in Venda along the Main Road From Louis Trichardt, now known as Louis Trichardt District, to Punda Maria gate in Kruger National Park in the north of the park.
He has turned part of his house into a wood centre or a working studio where he does all his wood sculptures. Most of his best works are done at the studio and visitors from all over come to buy and view his sculptures there. Mishack has been as far as Belgium, France, New York and other countries to exhibit his work and this has given him the well-deserved status as an artist of distinction in South Africa.
There are also historical art and sculptures for sale on site, which emphasises the privilege of buying original pieces directly from the artist.
