Seasands Lodge in St Lucia, which has a four star grading, nestles in a tropical garden with breathtaking views over the wetlands and the estuary mouth, and is hard to beat as a destination. The lodge is situated away from the busiest part of town, but with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. Seasands offers a shuttle service from the Richards Bay airport.
Seasands Lodge can easily accommodate large groups, as there are 27 cottages. All rooms have ceiling fans and/or air-conditioning and satellite television. The rooms are en-suite and have an open-plan lounge and fully fitted kitchenette.
All meals are available in the lapa as an optional extra. Traditional South African cuisine is on offer and the fish dishes are world-renowned. Vegetarians and special dietary requirements can also be catered for. The lapa also has bar facilities, an overhead projector, television and VCR – making it the ideal small conference venue for up to 35 delegates.
Seasands Lodge will assist with information regarding activities and tours in the area and can provide a booking service. Picnic baskets and light lunches are available.
