Serenity House:
The self-catering unit is a comfortable house with an en-suite family room and two separate bedrooms with twin beds and a double bunk sharing a separate shower/toilet. There is a spacious and fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area with a DVD player. The house comfortably accommodates up to 8 people and is a real ‘home from home’ for smaller groups. There is a covered stoep and kettle braai (barbeque) facilities.
Garden rondavels:
Two rustic brick and thatched garden rondavels with mountain and fynbos views are also available. Each rondavel has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, but share a separate kitchen in the wooden cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a dining area, small sitting room and covered stoep and braai (barbeque). Secure off-street parking is available.
No alcohol is sold on the premises. There are a few small shops, decent and diverse local restaurants and coffee shops in downtown Storms River. Kitty and Danny are on hand with helpful tips and information for travellers. Danny is a Registered Tour Guide and speaks Swiss German/German. Guided hiking trails can be done on request.
Guests must love dogs – we have two boisterous, loveable and very lively Staffie companions.
