Mushroom Rock, a unique and quite remarkable rock formation, looks down on the St Fort hiking trails. The trails offer a 17km, two-day hike, as well as two shorter one-day hikes. The trails are suitable for beginner hikers and children. There is a fully-equipped base camp that sleeps 24 hikers.
For those who prefer something luxurious, the St Fort Country House is available. Set on 2 200 acres of farmland, the sandstone home was built in 1913 and has been sensitively restored. Antique furniture graces each room. Rainbow and brown trout can be found in a well-stocked dam on the property or rivers running through it. Visitors can overnight in a cave with bushman paintings – an unforgettable experience. Team building facilities are also available.
