The property is adjecent to a World Heritage Site and there is an abundance of unspoilt flora. This is the only place where three biomes meet, namely fynbos, succulents and thicket. The venue is also situated between the Melville and Raubenheimer Dams that both supply the town of Oudthoorn with drinking water. Raubenheimer Dam is also known for its excellent bass fishing.
