The Tintswalo Beads and Sewing project started in 2002 by ten dedicated women based in Mbokota Village. Although at the moment they work in someone else’s house, they are confident that one-day through tourism traffic their business will do well enough to afford their own studio.
They specialise in beadwork and sewing school uniforms, and the items that are for sale can be bought on the premises
