Senanga town is situated on the eastern banks of the mighty Zambezi River just before the southern end of Barotse flood plains. It’s well known for plenty of fish in the Zambezi River. “Senanga, koo ndembela ichiwa kili ngweshi”, is a Lozi praise of the town. Translated to English it means, “Senanga, where the flag is torn to pieces by the tiger fish’’.
