Masikhule Craft

Masikhule Craft was started in 2002 by unemployed women who needed to generate an income. They make traditional clothing, as well as doing beadwork on necklaces and bags. They have been to the Grahamstown Arts Festival to showcase their work and also made some of the costumes for the opening of the SA Games in East London.

They are part of the Buffalo City Crafters Initiative, a group of women from all races that meet once a month to support each other and share success stories.
