Akkerboom Farmstall was originally an old farm house that is located on the family farm Akkerboom. The owners kept the original structure and it was renovated into a farmstall in August 2005. The floors and window frames are still the original Oregon pine.
The farmstall sells only the freshest products.
These include:
- Raisins and dates;
- A variety of dried fruits and nuts;
- Homemade jams and chutney;
- Cheese and sauces;
- Gifts;
- Rusks and biscuits;
- Gingerbeer;
- Cakes and tarts like milktart, appletart, cheese cake and quiche; and
- Salads.
