Casa Rex overlooks the Bazaruto Archipelago and offers accommodation and an a-la carte restaurant.
All activities can be booked through the lodge, but are outsourced to local operators. These activities include snorkelling, diving, fishing, dhow trips and horse-riding.
In 1996, Rex Potter, a wood carver and artist, built the house to live in. He slowly added rooms until his house eventually turned into a lodge with the homely atmosphere retained. Rex is not involved in the lodge anymore, but still lives down the road where he works on his art.
