Die Ou Wawiel Restaurant

Die Ou Wawiel (which means ‘the old wagon wheel’ – and referring to the old form of transport in the area) Restaurant is open every day of the week, and – especially for sundowners – until 19:00 on some days. The restaurant food is also available as take-aways.

Some specialities include bobotie (spicy meat bake), mixed vegetables, beet salads, stewed dried fruit, braaivleis (barbecued meat) with pap (porridge), soup and potbrood (steam bread), and sago pudding with custard. Traditional Khoi meals can also be ordered.
