Dona Soraya Lodge is situated on the South Beach of Vilanculos, overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean and out to the Bazaruto chain of islands on the horizon. This peaceful lodge is hosted by Dona Soraya who offers international and seafood cuisine, (Paella as the favorite dish) in her ample restaurant.
The beach, 160mx100m, with 90 coconut trees, is only a short walk down the wooden stairway to the clean sands and tranquil waters of the bay, safe swimming for children and the young at heart that enjoy water sports.
Accommodation:
The spacious accommodation offers double bed suites and two single beds suites 50m² each, with mosquito netting and stand alone fans, as well as sea-view veranda, a walk-in dressing room with shower and toilet. All rooms have a hot water kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk and an extensive breakfast is included and served in the restaurant each morning. All the suites and pool have spectacular sea views.
Dona Soraya Lodge also caters for weddings for up to 200 guests and their conference room can accommodate 80 participants comfortably.
If you arrive by air, Dona Soraya will collect you from the airport and take you back at the end of your visit. She will also run you into town if you would like to look around Vilanculos.
