Greater Roossenekal Publicity Association

The Greater Roossenekal Publicity Association (GRPA) serves as the local tourism organisation for the Greater Roossenekal area, including the Roossendal Draaikraal, Tonteldoos, Laersdrif, Staapberg, Wapaaskloof and Rooikraal communities. The GRPA was founded in 1997 and presently has 30 members, ranging from upmarket fly-fishing and game lodges to artists and craftsmen selling their handwork.

The Greater Roossenekal area itself is unique in the sense that within a radius of about 30km, two extreme climates are found. The hot northwestern side with its Bushveld topography and vegetation and the Highland on the southeastern side, with low temperatures and grassland vegetation.
