Island View Lodge is situated in a sheltered backwater overlooking Kalimbeza Island, the perfect place to capture the spirit of the Caprivi with it’s natural unspoilt beauty, magnificent sunsets and spectacular riverine scenery.

Camping:
The campsite overlooks a wide expanse of river and consist of 24 campsites which can accommodate a minimum of two and a maximum of eight people per campsite. Terminalia, Natal Mahogany and Acacia trees offer campers a shady canopy under which to erect their tents. Braais (barbecues) are provided at each campsite and electric plug points are available at a nominal fee. Ladies and gents ablution facilities with hot water and a communal kitchen are available.
Catering:
Visitors who do not wish to do their own cooking can enjoy a hearty home cooked meal served around the fire at our dining lapa. We also provide breakfast, lunch and lunch-packs on request.
Bar:
Relax with a refreshing drink at the Way-Inn Bar, where anglers meet to discuss the day’s events. Darts and pool are popular activities and the bar stocks a variety of wine, beers, spirits and cool drinks.
There is also a swimming pool on the premises.
