Kalkfontein Guest Farm and Retreat has a hall, dormitory and bungalows. They mostly cater for tour groups. The dormitory sleeps approximately 30 guests and the bungalows 12 people.
Activities:
- Horse-riding;
- Donkey cart rides;
- Hiking;
- Plants and succulents; and
- Birding (they also have a bird breeding program, as well as exotic birds).
Youth group facilities are also available and veld tours can be arranged for visitors.

“Kalkfontein is a working farm with day to day operations. We saw a need for a youth camp within our area and believed that we could make a difference. We created a place where the peaceful atmosphere helps young people to relax and give them a better insight on life. No alcohol. No drugs.”
Kalkfontein Farm is surrounded by mountains, birds, Namakwaland daisies and a large variety of succulents.
