Kamutjonga Inland Fisheries Institute (KIFI) provides various services to the local farmers and fishermen within the Kavango region. This includes, inter alia, training and awareness of freshwater fish farming, support in producing and harvesting fresh water fish for food security, aquatic disease surveillance and, research and monitoring of shared river systems. KIFI promotes good management of the biodiversity and eco systems of our rivers and inland water bodies.
