The Karoo Herberg is restored in typical Karoo style with a view to maintaining as much of its simplicity as possible. It is located in close proximity to where the very first plots of land were made available in 1853, adjacent to the Karoo Country Inn on the main road.
This lodge can accommodate up to 24 people in 12 en-suite rooms. Every unit functions on its own and guests can organize meal arrangements to suit their schedules. The Karoo Herberg also has one of the oldest vines in the district, with a stem approximately 90cm in circumference.
