Liksors Collection

Lindiwe started her business in 2003 making school uniforms for the various schools in the area. She received her sewing training at a government facility, and her father bought her a sewing machine so that she could start earning a living for herself. In addition to the school uniforms she makes traditional cultural clothing, men’s and boy’s clothing, bedding and cushions. Her main client base is from the local community and most of her marketing is done by word of mouth.

She is currently sponsored to a small degree by the Department of Agriculture, and she has successfully completed a number of courses for Business Skills and Decorative Arts (Beadwork), and holds certificates of accomplishment for them.
