Mnquma Craft is a community initiative that was established by a number of Butterworth women. There are many women in Butterworth and the surrounding rural villages with talent for making traditional Xhosa products. They have managed to acquire a small office building next to the Butterworth Monument built along the national road passing through the town, in order to display their wares, such as garments, beadwork, curios, arts and crafts and some stunning woodworks.
