Mseni Lodge is situated in Sodwana Bay, South Africa’s premier scuba diving and deep-sea fishing mecca.
Accommodation:
The lodge consists of eight B&B cabins, each with a master bedroom with two beds (one with double), a single or bunk bed in an alcove and a full bathroom. Our Honeymoon Cabin has a queen size bed in the master bedroom, full bathroom, a small lounge area and is the ONLY B&B cabin with a mini bar fridge.
There are two 2-sleeper self-catering chalets with a master bedroom with a double bed, full bathroom and small kitchenette. There are also five 5-sleeper self-catering chalets with two bedrooms (two beds in each), two full bathrooms, a single bed in an alcove and small kitchenette. Each self-catering chalet has a private braai (barbeque) area outside.
Umsimbiti – the guesthouse – is self-catering and has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge/dining area and a large deck with a stunning view. The chalets are serviced daily and the self-catering chalets are fully equipped (bring own beach towels).
A beautiful restaurant serves a full English breakfast, pub lunches and dinner. The lodge bar upstairs has a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. The restaurant and bar are open from 07:00-22:00. The lodge also has a swimming pool and can cater for conferences of up to 25 people.
Mseni Lodge is the only place in Sodwana Bay with direct access to a pristine beach via a five minute walk along a beautiful path through lush coastal forest (reasonable fitness levels required). You can walk from Mseni Beach to the main beach area, where all the scuba diving and fishing activities depart, in around 30 minutes.
