Sanddrift Tourism (Emilie) can arrange a variety of entertainment and interesting visits for tourists. The local Nama Society will demonstrate traditional dancing and explain some of the Nama language. The Nama Catering Group will provide traditional food for visitors. The youth choir is a must-see in Sanddrif, and a number of trained tour guides are also available for tours to the river or around town.
A number of arts and crafts projects occur in Sanddrif and Baken area. Pottery is of particular interest – a fascinating variety of pots and figurines are made through this community project. Visitors are welcome and purchases can be made or orders placed.
If Emilie is not available, visitors can also phone Sanddrif Council.
