SASI !Uruke Adventures, also known as the Satellite Office of SASI in the Kalahari, is located in Andriesvale next to the only local shop in this settlement. This office acts as facilitator to the Khomani San and is the entry point to this part of the Footprint of San Tourism Route.
SASI is a non-profit and non-governmental organization, part of the Kuru family of projects that protect and preserve the culture of indigenous minority groups in Africa. It is advisable that visitors wanting to meet and interact with the Khomani San should work through SASI, not only because of sensitive cultural issues, but also to get maximum benefit from the experience.
