Solly’s Inn at Unit 4, Mogwase, is clearly signposted on the main road at the entrance to the township. Established in 1998, the inn provides a friendly and efficient service to locals and tourists alike. Solly’s is unique in that it is divided into different areas — the VIP lounge, the non-smoking section and smoking section — each with its own television.
Outside is a spacious yard, complete with braai (barbeque), where activities and events such as jazz sessions are held. Traditional meals are served on request, and there is a wide selection of local and imported beer and wines available. Transport can be arranged from nearby hotels such as Kwa-Maritane, Manyanae and Sun City, and there are public phones on the premises.
