St Lucia Safari Lodge on St Lucia’s main street offers 27 air-conditioned rooms. It is close to shops and amenities, but also a few minutes drive from the wonders of the wetlands. The complex is ideal for tour groups and families. All meals are served at the traditional lapa beside the large swimming pool. A bar is available.
The lodge has its own in-house tour operator – Heritage Tours and Safaris – who conducts tours to Cape Vidal and Hluhluwe Game Reserve in open game drive vehicles. The lodge also has its own curio shop for guests.

Turtle Tours:
Come on a journey to discover an age-old phenomenon that has been taking place for centuries – the nesting of the leatherback and loggerhead turtles. Nesting season starts in November and ends in March. En-route guests can enjoy a night drive on the way to the turtle nesting sites – with a chance of spotting elephant, hyena, kudu, leopard and hippo.
Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Big 5 Safari:
This is the park with the highest concentration of white and black rhino, a variety of bird life, scenic drives, and unique waterholes, rivers and hides. This is a full day tour with lunch and refreshments provided.
Cape Vidal Heritage and Snorkelling Tours:
After a game drive to Cape Vidal, snorkelling equipment is provided for those who would like to discover the underwater wonderland of tropical fish. This is a full day tour with lunch.
