The Growcery Camp

Situated on the banks of the impressive Orange River, the Growcery Camp offers a tranquil environment with panoramic views of the river and the surrounding rock formations in the Nababeep Conservancy. The Growcery Camp is 22km from the Namibian border en-route to places like the famous Fish River Canyon, Ai Ais Nature Reserve and the Richtersveld National Park. Our camp is a natural site and allows for a free and natural experience with the necessary luxuries. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day’s drive.

Our Richtersveld bush camp situated on total land coverage of 6ha and is equipped with all the bare essentials to cater to an unforgettable experience in the wild. The comfortable camp is suited to travellers, overlanders, campers, rafters and 4×4 self-drivers with parking close to the camp sites.

At Growcery Camp you will find friendly staff well informed and passionate about the region, enjoy a sundowner in our fully stocked bar while gazing over languid stretches of the great Orange River. Accommodation includes grassed campsites, tented camps and chic shack permanent units with power points and braai area’s sharing communal washing-up facilities. Our pristine ladies and gents ablution, best showers with hot and cold water and a large boma area makes our camp only one of its kind.
