The Livingstone Safari Lodge and Campsite

Located near the Victoria Falls, Livingstone Safari Lodge and Campsite and opposite the Mosi-oa-Tunya Game Park, near all the activities in the Victoria Falls and Livingstone area. So if you are into adrenalin rushes or traffic jams (of the elephant kind), this is the place to stay. Ideal for corporate functions and incentive groups.

Accommodation:

Bush cabins:

Make yourself at home in one of the large individual bush cabins where peace and quiet is guaranteed. Your bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with a spacious bath, separate shower and an extra (private) outdoor shower, accessible from your bathroom. The cabins have generous sized beds with high quality mattresses, duvets and mosquito nets. Coffee/tea facilities are included.

The comfortable and restful cabins are decorated in an African theme and all materials used are from Zambia. The hand-crafted furniture are made by local craftsmen. All cabins have hot and cold running water and electricity at 220 Volt.

The lodge has its our own fresh water supply, direct from their private “Aquafier” well.

Camping:

Two options are available:

  • The private campsites feature private ablution facilities containing a private building with your own key for the toilet, shower and hand wash basin. These stands have a fair amount of shade; or
  • The public campsite has large stands where guests share the ablution facilities. Less shade available.

Restaurant and bar:

Mwaba’s Bar welcomes everyone for a drink any time of the day. A 3-course barbeque meal with fresh vegetables, salads, and meats are served. All meats come from free range animals fed on natural grasses and foliage. (No Acid rain here).

They also serve a breakfast of coffee/tea with toast and real farm butter, homemade marmelades, bacon and organic egg omelettes (unpolluted, non mechanical, non-stabilised, free of all hormones and steroids). All this can be enjoyed in spectacular surroundings with an abundance of fresh air.
