The Millgate Complex

Millgate Cottage incorporates Millgate B&B, Millgate Cottages, The Glass Studio and Molehill Clothing. It is a family business with three generations living on the property and operating the business. Some 80% of the goods on sale in our shops are produced in-house.

Self-Catering cottages:

Millgate offers two self-catering cottages with DSTV, underfloor heating, comfortable beds, baths, showers and fully equipped kitchens completed with oven, stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, crockery and cutlery. The one bedroom cottage sleeps a maximum of four and the two-bedroom cottage a maximum of six.

B&B:

Millgate also offers three B&B units with M-Net, tea/coffee facilities heaters, en-suite bathroom, heaters and comfortable beds. There is a double unit (sleeping two) and a family unit (sleeping four). The third unit has a single and double bed.

A full English breakfast includes cereal, bacon and egg, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, marmalade jams, fruit juice, tea and coffee.

The Glass Studio:

The Glass Studio crafts a variety of glassware. It specialises in sandblasting (frosting) company logos, names and/or details on items typically distributes to clients and would-be clients. The Studio’s hotel clients take pride in drinks being served to them with glasses bearing their individual details, while game lodges may prefer to feature animals seen in their parks or the entire Big Five. Anything from an ashtray through to drinking glasses and complete coffee sets can be individualised to client’s own requirements.

Use personalised water to promote your company:

Our property Millgate is fortunate to be fed from an underground stream carrying water of a superior quality, containing valuable minerals. We can supply this natural healthy water to you in bottles bearing your company name and/or logo your marketing message and a list of its mineral properties.

Millgate Art Gallery:

Local, professional artists exhibit in the gallery include John Greenbalgh, Derika Vermaak, Jean Marie Temkin, Temkin, Peter Feek, Val Stevens and Inge Manders.

Molehill Clothing:

Molehill Clothing makes clothing from locally produced fabrics, with high cotton content. Shirts can be made and finished in-housed or the stitching can be outsourced to local seamstresses. All shirts produced locally carry the embroidered Molehill logo. Molehill produces shirts for corporate clients, which are embroidered with their logo.
