Timbavati Safari Lodge is situated 23km from Orpen Gate, which is the most central gate to the Kruger National Park. This area of the Park is well known for a large number of predator sightings, and is not as busy as the southern parts of the park. It is a game-viewing paradise for wildlife lovers.
Timbavati Safari Lodge is ideal for all travellers, backpackers, tour operators, family holidays and other groups up to 70 people.
At the core of the lodge are our African traditional rondawels, a sparkling swimming pool, a sociable open-plan pool bar that blends delightfully into the surrounding bush, and a restaurant renowned for its mouth-watering cuisine. Our accommodation is en-suite with ceiling fans and mosquito nets.
You can dine in royal African style under the stars in our open safari boma (traditional reeded enclosure). The aromatic scents of venison and hearty ‘potjie‘ stews linger around the central fire, while the calls of nearby wildlife enhance that unmatchable sense of the mystery of the African bush.
