The ACVV was founded in 1904. It is a non-profit, Christian organisation that provides housing to elders and disabled people.
They currently have four premises where families are housed:
- Huis Frieda Kempen – five flats and 20 rooms;
- Conroy flat – housing for two families;
- Ons Huis – one house that sleeps five people; and
- The ACVV flats – seven flats.
