Alicatt Tours operates along the Gouritz Meander between Ladismith/Zoar and De Rust. Tours of the Garden Route, as well as the Western- and Eastern Cape can be arranged. Pickups from George, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town can also be arranged. They offer the step-on guide option for those travelling in their own vehicles – rates are negotiable.

Land and Sand environmental excursion for children:
On 5 March 2011 the first group of three schools arrived in Zoar for the Land and Sand Environmental Excursion. This project is organised and facilitated by Alicatt Tours and made possible by the Kanna Biodiversity Route, Cape Nature, WESSA and Ladismith Eyes Gallery. Learners from grades 5-7 are offered an opportunity to go on a hike, following in the footsteps of the Attaqua Khoi and experiencing the three biomes of the area firsthand.
This educational experience includes information about medicinal and other properties of the plants, cultural stories and legends and a creative workshop. The workshop focuses on the creative interpretation of the educational information and personal experience of the excursion into a product by re-using waste materials. A donkey cart ride into Seweweekspoort offers a unique memory of the excursion. Ladismith High School participated in the first weekend, and Dankoord Primary and Amalienstein Primary will part take in the remaining two weekends that will take place on 19 & 20 March and 26 & 27 March respectively.
