Kavango River Lodge

The Okavango River forms part of the Okavango Delta, the world’s largest inland delta system which flows freely through the borders of Angola, Botswana and Namibia. The expansive flooding in this ancient Delta creates a network of channels, reed beds, hippo pools and flood plains – teeming with some of Africa’s last great free-roaming herds of game and bird-life.

The Kavango River Lodge, situated in the North-Eastern town of Rundu, invites you to visit this enticing, relaxing, unspoilt river of timeless beauty. Nestled on the banks of the Okavango River, the Kavango River Lodge, offers you a magical, unforgettable experience with spectacular views of the river and floodplains. A revitalizing and comfortable stopover on the long journey between Windhoek, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls and Zambia, but also equally suitable for people visiting the Kavango region for business purpose, the Lodge provides a cool, peaceful and quiet environment.

Accommodation consists of chalets, each with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, linen, television and en-suite facilities. All breakfasts will be served in the restaurant. Folding beds or mattresses are provided on request for the children.
