Started as a private Canadian business investment in 1995 the Khaya La Bantu Guest Farm and Xhosa Cultural Village offers country folk with a venue for displaying their rich heritage in music, crafts and the arts as a tourist package. It serves as an ideal base for an overnight stay or from whence visitors can embark on various excursion trips to other destinations in the area.
There is indigenous accommodation in a dormitory hut sleeping 30-40 people on floor mats, a community hut serving as a dining room, bar and lounge, and a boma serves as an auditorium and conference centre.
