Frans welds gates, butler windows, butler door, window frames, and frames for doors. He started with no resources for welding and no idea of how to weld.
Frans explains how his business started:
“I found a piece job at Pretoria in chop-shop, where I gained experience and started to have interest in working with steel and welding. I realized that I could make my own business out of welding and began by making a window frame and the gate for my home. People became interested in my work and I started to get orders of gates, window frames, butlers and steel fences.”
